 I'm back on blogger!
Posted by Friday, 5 April 2013 8:20 pm with 0 notes | add more notes
Alhamdulillah, I will be posting more here in shaa Allah. Read a blog of a muslimah and was inspired. I guess this will be a place for me to constantly reflect on myself, the things I do.. & also to share the knowledge I've learnt in shaa Allah. I have another blog which I will be using it to post about whatever that is related to school. Yes, alhamdulillah this will be my final year. In shaa Allah all will be خير
Latest update about my progress in the Deen.. I've taken up arabic lesson with a sister, alhamdulillah and it has been good. & I am also still in andalus doing pra-diploma in islamic studies and hope to further in Diploma Quran and Sunnah. May Allah make it easy for me and all muslims in the world. & also I've been trying to memorize the Quran, starting with Juz Amma.. currently memorizing Surah al Ghashiyyah.
I've been lacking.. in terms of everything.. My mind has been wandering a lot.. floating in mid air. Allahul musta'an. I need to get myself on track. I am having problems.. and in constant need of this reminder,
“Live in this world as a traveller or a stranger”
On
the authority of Abdullah ibn Umar (May Allah be pleased with them
both), he relates that the Prophet (Peace be upon him) once held my
shoulders and said:
“Live in this world as (if you are) a wayfarer or a stranger.” And Abdullah ibn Umar (May Allah be pleased with them both) used to say:
“If you live till night, then do not wait for the next day (i.e. do not
have hopes that you will live to the next day), and if you wake up in
the morning do not have hope that you will live till the night. And take
(advantage) from your health before your sickness and take advantage of
your life before your death (i.e. do every possible obedience in your
life before death comes to you for then no deeds can be performed.)”
[Bukhari and Tirmidhi]
Allah.. I want to meet you when I'm ready, please let me die as a muslimah whom You are pleased with Allah.. I am in need of You oh Allah, please do take anything that takes me away from you.. please help me in my Deen oh Allah. Please grant me understanding of the Deen and steadfastness,
may we die in the straight path ♥
